It has been brought to our attention that our exhibitors are being targeted by companies claiming to be, or work with, our organisation. These companies may even use the Housing event branding in order to appear genuine.
Ocean Media Group, the organisers of Housing, would like to stress that there are no third parties selling any products or information on its behalf.
Fraudulent activity includes (but not limited to) attempting to sell fraudulent delegate contact information and selling directory services.
It is therefore extremely important that you remain vigilant when signing documents seemingly related to the events and if you are in any doubt surrounding the authenticity of communication received, please contact your account manager directly.
The AEO advises exhibitors who fall victim to this scam the following:
Our advice is to IGNORE THEM COMPLETELY, and not communicate with them in any way. Writing letters simply confirms that you exist and are available at the address/email address/number they have for you, and therefore payment can be pursued.
These organisations have also been known to use debt recovery agencies, the same advice stands for these agencies.
If you believe you have been subject to any suspicious communications, please forward the details to firstname.lastname@example.org or your account manager.
"We found Housing 2019 to be a highly effective event and a great place to launch our new system. Overall the exhibition provided high quality leads and consistently high footfall throughout the three days. We were so impressed, that in 2020 we have decided to increase our stand size from 36m2 to 108m2"

"The experience is a unique mix of networking, fun and learning. I have never experienced such a broad range of forward-thinking ways of hosting and presenting such as the silent talks that were happening around the venue and the model homes"
"In my opinion, it is the single most important housing event of the year where all serious sector leaders convene. To miss the event you run the risk of failing behind the leading pack,"
