Keynote theatre in partnership with Plentific

OPEN TO DELEGATES ONLY

Senior politicians, commentators and sector experts will explore the scale and nature of our housing crisis and how we as housing professionals can work together to provide the solutions. The economy, the regulatory landscape, challenges for the sector and keeping tenant and residents needs at the heart of everything we do.

Featuring the UK’s leading political figures in the housing sector

Keynote sessions look at how the sector needs to adapt so that it is robust and resilient in times of challenging economic and financial headwinds – and responsive to tenants who want to live in quality affordable homes with a landlord who listens with empathy.

In 2023, leadership and senior housing executives will hear how the cost of living crisis and the broader financial constraints are impacting both tenants and social housing providers. Keynote sessions will provide the opportunity to engage with the debate around what’s possible, and how can social housing providers and their partners adapt in times of flux and financial pressures?

Highlights of the Keynote programme include addresses from the UK’s leading political figures in the housing sector, and the opportunity to engage in discussions with political commentators, economists and the regulator of social housing.

Leaders in the social housing sector are facing some difficult decisions. Join your peers for this curated programme of mission critical debates which cover - strategic asset investment in today’s financial climate, how can social landlords balance different priorities, how can we eradicate the need for temporary accommodation for children, and the question for the whole sector to answer - how can we develop a housing sector which is driven by purpose?

Sessions will include:

  • Listening first: how can landlords ensure that their organisations are listening to tenants in a respectful and meaningful way?
  • How is the political landscape impacting tenants, communities and regions?
  • Reputation, quality and challenge: how does the social housing sector need to respond?
  • Economic outlook and the future for quality in social housing
  • What does social housing look like for landlords and tenants during the cost of living crisis?
  • Understanding strategic asset investment in today’s financial climate
  • Is the housing model broken?
