Day 5 final day of the virtual housing festival

We are super-excited about the final day and want to highlight the reasons why your attendance is essential!

9 of the biggest sessions saved for the finale.

Starting at 9 we have wellbeing in the workplace or raising the bar on housing quality, followed by a session on innovation to accelerate our COVID-19 activity or working with our partners to create communities fit for the 21C, late morning tune in for practical sessions in crisis management or a masterclass on achieving sustainable homes and communities.

After lunch at 13.30 we have the ‘Homes at the heart’ session and the final Housing Management session to discuss how we shift public attitudes to our sector.

Finally, don’t miss the Presidential address at 15.00 with Aileen Evans followed by this year’s housing film.

This is also your final opportunity to join some incredibly interesting debates across all the innovation hub sessions. Here’s a quick overview on these:

  • 09:15-10:00 Tech tower blocks - a programme of installing Smart Heating and connectivity to over 700 properties over seven years and a piloting sensor technology to make management of tower blocks more efficient
  • 09:15-10:00 HCL Building Risk Assessment, Communal Action, and Hazard Works: Three powerful apps for all your housing need
  • 10:15-11:15 Doing housing differently in Greater Manchester: Building back better homes and places
  • 10:15-11:00 and 11.15-12.15 Are you Fire Safe at home? Are your Residents Fire Safe? Introduction to products that can protect properties and lives
  • 11:45-12:45 Discussion around delivering local authority housing in partnership
  • 12:30-13:15 The real impact of Covid Uncovered – sharing UK wide insight into the true impact of Covid on social landlords and their tenants
  • 13:45 -14:30 Revolutionising social housing for the next generation

Plus we are delighted to air the first on-demand session a few days early and chose one that is at the heart of all we do. For any of you that missed the CIH Housing management session today click here to watch ‘It’s not OK’ – a session that challenges stigmatism and looks at the language we use in tenant engagement.
