Homelessness figures are at an alarming level with increasing numbers of children experiencing homelessness and overcrowded conditions. At the same time, local authorities are grappling with increasing temporary accommodation need at a time of soaring costs. This session will look at the long-term policy and funding asks of the next government to prevent and eradicate homelessness to ensure everyone has a place to call home.

  • What is the long-term plan and funding needed to end homelessness?
  • How will the Renters’ Reform Bill impact the current environment?
  • How can we increase the supply of genuinely affordable and appropriate housing to tackle the crisis?
